Trails.com has at least 25 on this link: North Hudson Area Trails Hoffman Notch has several trailheads. This link from Adirondack Basecamp has a nice map of the area. Hoffman Notch The Adirondack Tourism Council has put together a book of Scenic Walks and Day Hikes. North Hudson and the surrounding area can be found on pages 13, 17 and 18. ADK Great Walks 2012	CANOEING/KAYAKING Within the Adirondack Park, there are over 6,000 miles of rivers and streams. One of them is right in our backyard. Literally. To paddle the Schroon River, canoes and kayaks can be launched from our property. It's about 20 miles to Schroon Lake, with one carry at around the 10 mile mark. 46ER "What's a 46er" you ask? There are 46 High Peaks in the Adirondack Park and you can earn a spot in an exclusive club by climbing all 46 Peaks. Need a bigger challenge? NORTH HUDSON RECREATION North Hudson Web Site - The town of North Hudson has compiled a list of recreation available. In addition, the North Hudson town park features a sandy beach on the Schroon River, tennis and basketball courts, baseball diamond, barbeque grills (charcoal), and a small playground. The park is just a short walk, or an even shorter drive from our property. Sports equipment will be available to our guests.
